PhD Track at Institut Polytechnique de Paris

Institut Polytechnique de Paris offers a highly selective, integrated five-year PhD program designed for high-potential students aiming for an international career in leading academic institutions or in the private sector.

Inspired by the Anglo-Saxon model, the PhD Track allows selected students to benefit from IP Paris's outstanding academic ecosystem ans to be closely involved in the research activities of its laboratories from the very first year of the Master's program. Each student receives personalized guidance from a faculty member and interacts directly with the Institute's scientific community, located at the heart of a world-renowned innovation cluster.

The first two years, corresponding to the Master's level, are dedicated to acquiring the tools needed to carry out an ambitious research project, under the supervision of an academic advisor.

The following three years are devoted entirely to the research project and lead to the PhD degree from Institut Polytechnique de Paris. Students receive individual mentoring from a recognized researcher in their field. The most outstanding candidates may be awarded excellence scholarships.

Within the Department of Economics and CREST, students may apply for the PhD Track in Economics.
